ILLiad Interlibrary Loan System : Getting Started

What is ILLiad?

ILLiad is an online Interlibrary Loan system. Through ILLiad, you can order books and articles from other libraries. Place your order at any time, without coming to the library. Once you get registered and set up your account, ILLiad is a fast, convenient way to order library materials.

A few basic rules...

1. We cannot order your class textbooks through ILLiad--it would be an excessive drain on the system.
2. Make sure the item you are ordering is not available anywhere on campus, through electronic or paper sources. If it is available here, we cannot order it from other campuses.
3. There is a maximum of five interlibrary loans per week, per person.
4. There may be other copyright restrictions on some materials--the Library will notify you if this is the case.
